Tim Moen, Instructor
Tim is a working character designer and concept artist in the animation industry. A decade-long veteran of Walt Disney Television Animation, he was the lead character designer on several productions such as “DuckTales” (2017), “Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero”, and “Chibi Tiny Tales”. Tim has also worked for Warner Animation Group (WAG) and Big Idea (Veggie Tales), among others. After working in busy Burbank, CA, Tim and his wife, Sara, decided to settle down in peaceful East Tennessee. He continues to work remotely as a freelance artist for the animation industry.
Sara Moen, Assistant
Sara is the world’s best classroom assistant! Having worked as an instructional aide in special education for over a decade, Sara brings her experience of working with young children and teens to these courses. Answering questions, handing out supplies, bathroom chaperone---that's why she's here!
